Jalapeno Grilled Cheese
I’ve always liked my grilled cheese a little spicy, when I was a kid it was a plain grilled cheese with a side of chili sauce. Today, it is a little upgraded with jalapeño cream cheese and some spicy chutney! This recipe is spicy in all the right ways with a creamy, cooling effect of the cream cheese. You can mix it up a bunch of different ways with different chutneys and spreads, but this is my favorite! I serve it up with a whole bunch of air-fried curly fries and a tall glass of soda with lots of ice! Check out the recipe and let me know what you think!

Ingredients
- 2 slices White Sandwich Bread
- 2 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 tbsp Green Cilantro and Chili Chutney
- 1 tbsp Jalapeño Cream Cheese any flavor you like is great!
- ghee/butter/oil for toasting the bread
- water for steaming
Instructions
- Spread ghee/butter on one side of each slice of bread. On the other side of one slice spread cream cheese, and on the other slice spread chutney.
- Put the butter side down in a large pan on medium heat. Once the bread is very lightly toasted, add your cheese to one side. I like to cut it up into quarters and layer the cheese. Pour a splash of water (about 1-2 tbsp.), and cover the pan immediately.
- Once the cheese is melted, close your sandwich and continuously flip your sandwich until it is an even golden brown all the way around.
