Mango Mint Hibiscus Power Punch

My little cousin Veer is a mini mocktail mixologist at the ripe old age of 10. We are all a little concerned for when he turns 21. Every time he comes over I lay out all of the drinks we have on the counter and tell him to make a pitcher of punch for the family. He makes a different one every time! The first one we were really surprised, we had no idea he had these skills! By the fourth time I whipped out my measuring cups and camera to catch this kid in action. I told him if he gave me the recipe I would feature it on the blog and so here we are! He got to name it himself and chose to name it “Power Punch” so here it is for you all!

The base of this punch is mango mint hibiscus tea. Feel free to sub out any sort of tea you have on hand. We found this tea from La Crème Tea and Coffee, at a holiday high tea! The Dallas Arboretum has a holiday tea every year and we have gone the past two years, in fact thats where Hardik proposed! It has a very special place in my heart, so I thought I would book tickets again for my family almost a year after the proposal. They served this tea and all of us were in love which is a rare occurrence with more tart teas. My parents are against anything sour, but the mango and mint really balance each other out! This tea is great with or without honey or sugar. I love to have it in the mid afternoon when I want to prevent myself from snacking too much! It is perfect hot or cold, so definitely experiment with your tea combos to land on something you like! I steeped my tea in cold water which I know is sacrilege, but I am at peace in my heart. If you want to be a rebel and do the same I support you.

If you like it super fizzy, feel free to include more carbonated water, or even mix in sparkling juice! This recipe is super forgiving, try it out with whatever you have!
